Five kids' CDs that won't annoy adults

So warm up the minivan radio and get ready for some serious edu-tainment as we delve into five options rife with more sweet sounds that will be music to the ears of the entire family.

GUSTAFER YELLOWGOLD

The brainchild of Daytonian Morgan Taylor, who is now based in New York, the Gustafer Yellowgold character is an alien creature from the sun who befriends a variety of creatures as he navigates and discovers his world. Out of the five options presented, this would be aimed at the youngest audiences.
The New York Times has written, "The show is a cross between 'Yellow Submarine' and Dr. Seuss." With a well-dressed flightless pterodactyl by the name of Forrest Applecrumbie for a best friend, that's about right.
From March 15 to May 3 the sunny, yellow animated conehead will make his off-Broadway debut at the DR2 Theatre in New York in "Gustafer Yellowgold's Mellow Sensation." Visit www.gustaferyellowgold.com for more details.
